I’M LUCIA PICERNO, A LONDON BASED DESIGNER AND ILLUSTRATOR.
I COME FROM THE BEAUTIFUL SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRY OF URUGUAY AND I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN LONDON FOR OVER 5 YEARS. I LOVE DESIGNING AND DRAWING ABOUT FEMINIST AND SOCIAL ISSUES.
MY AESTHETIC IS COLOURFUL AND BOLD AND HAS A POSITIVE TONE OF VOICE.
I decided to use my skills as a creative to fight for what I believe in. My aim is to spread inspiring and thought-provoking messages for women. The key issues I am interested in are feminism and women’s social issues. With the world ever more divided, I want to make work that
can transmit joy and a feeling of community and unity.
My clients as an illustrator include Penguin Random House,
Harper Collins, Honda, Bodyform, Palmer’s, and Danone among many others. As a Designer, I have worked at agencies all around London such as Superunion, Ogilvy, Anomaly and Sudler&Hennesy.
